Oppo Reno 8T 5G Review
Design
A very special design it comes with a lot of Curves – curves on the edges, on the side, on the display, and on all four corners. The curves make the phone very comfortable phone to hold and use throughout use.
There are two colors; midnight black and sunrise gold, both look really beautiful and premium. When you tilt the device from side to side, it glows around the entire back and this is a matte back panel. There’ll be no fingerprints on the back because of the material.
Oppo Reno 8T 5G is a slim device at 171g. It’s actually a very lightweight device.
Display
It houses a large, 6.7 inches curved display on mostly premium smartphones. With the 120Hz refresh rate, everything will refresh fast on the display. interacting with social media on this display is going to be super smooth.
An additional feature is an AMOLED panel, its colors and contrast levels are much better than phones that are slightly cheaper. With the AMOLED panel, you will have deeper black colors that pop a little bit more.
Camera
My favorite part of the Oppo Reno 8T 5G, is the 108-megapixel portrait camera. This super unique camera setup has a 108-megapixel portrait camera, a 40X microlens, and a 2-megapixel Depth camera.
The 108-megapixel camera provides a ton of detail and the colors coming off the oppo Reno 8 was very natural and detailed. With a lot of detail, you can keep zooming into your photo and have lossless details so that’s pretty cool about the 108-megapixel sensor.
If you are into portrait shots, you will be pleased to know that portrait pictures come out very well. The bokeh in the background is very true to life and similar to higher-end expensive smartphones.
Battery
They have put a 4800mAh battery in this Slim body, you will be able to get approximately 6-7 hours of screen on time with the Always-On display turned on.
In terms of the charging speeds, it is a 67-watt super-volt charge. You can get 80% in 30 minutes and fully charge the entire device in just 44 minutes. The best part, the charger, and cable are both in the Box.
Software
The Oppo Reno 8T 5G was launched with color OS 13 running on Android 13. This runs smoothly with the Snapdragon 695 on 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal memory. The main highlight is Android 13. With the Android 13 right off the Box, which is good to have the latest software on your brand-new device.
Also, Oppo did a 48-month fluency test which guarantees the phone will be smooth going for a period of two years. You will be getting a pretty decent experience with this device.
Conclusion
At the end of the day, it is clear that Oppo is really upping its mid-range smartphones. It’s always good to see new features being brought down to mid-range devices that can only once be seen on Flagship devices.
