Call it crazy when I say Tecno Phantom X2 Pro 5G was the world’s first retractable lens. This camera is actually one of the eye-catching features of the Tecno Phantom X2 Pro. With such a camera innovation this is a very bright start to the year for smartphones. The x2 Pro 5G, at first sight, is the design than the specs but the overall performance of the X2 Pro has a lot of interesting stuff to offer.
Here are all the best features of the Device:
Tecno Phantom X2 Pro 5G: Amazing Feature
What’s in the Box
The customized case that comes in the box is a clear case with a similar texture to the back of the phone which means you don’t miss out on that premium feel. The phone case also flaunts an adjustable ring that Embraces the camera Island and acts as a phone holder that allows you to set your phone in many different positions.
The phone has two amazing colors Mass orange and Stardust gray:
Mass orange is made of recycled plastic from the ocean while Stardust gray is made of Stardust.
The X2 Pro 5G’s most eye-catching design is Mars orange, which is a solid 10 in my opinion. This device makes a bold statement right out of the box.
The phone flaunts a large island on the back that carries three cameras and an LED flash. One of the cameras has a colored ring around it telling you that something special about this one camera.
The material has an absorbing texture pattern on the back of this phone. The feel is satisfying to hold in the hand despite being a big device and it sits perfectly in your hand
The front is a massive curved screen that adds its own touch to the design. It has a 6.8-inch double-curved 120-hertz AMOLED Corning Gorilla Glass display that also has a resolution of 1080 by 2400 pixels. This display has a central control cutout on the selfie camera.
Apart from a curved Screen, it’s almost bezel-less from top to bottom. The Display has an immersive viewing experience while playing games or watching videos. It has a 10-bit panel that can cover 100 of the DCI P3 color gamut. This is evident in how sharp and colorful this display is going in playing colorful games.
The performance is one of the very strong suits of this device. The chipset is a 4nm Flagship Mediatek Dimensity 9000 processor that pairs with 12 gigs of RAM and 256 gigs of storage running on Google’s Android 12 (tecno OS 12).
With everyday use of multiple apps running in the background. playing games, streaming high-quality content, and more there is noticeably no drop in performance. The Phantom X2 Pro will get two years of Android updates (Android 13 and 14) and 3 years of security updates.
The fingerprint scanner is an under this display that is absolutely well executed and quick to respond. The face unlock is improved to be a lot faster and even better with lowlight.
Having packs a whopping 5160 mAh battery. The battery is pretty impressive and doesn’t even weigh so much for a device with a big battery. With a full charge, the battery life was able to last the entire day.
When it comes to the charging speed with the 45-watt charger that comes in the box, it took about an hour to go from 0 to 100%.
The main is a 50MP wide lens while the smallest is a 13-megapixel Ultra wide lens with support for macro Vision. macro Vision is a fancy way of saying that it can take really up close shots. The most intriguing feature of this phone is the aforementioned special camera with an orange ring around it. This is a 15MP portrait camera with support for 2.5x zoom and it has a retractable lens. This camera is the world’s first retracting portrait lens and is comparable to a professional camera on a smartphone.
when it comes to video, the rear camera can shoot in 1080P and up to 4K 60 FPS. At 1080p you get decent stabilization with ultra-steady.
overall, the phone looks like a great package that is solidly designed. a bit curious as to what was going on with the camera module but it’s one of those things where you have to see it in person to know if you would like it I personally do like it.
